What is Osteopathy? Osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that focuses on the body as a whole to restore health & balance to the body. It focuses on the connection between the structure and function of the body.

Areas of Osteopathy are: Osteo-articulations & joint mobility; muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, cranial & visceral osteopathy.
The objective is to relax the nervous system, improve joint mobility, decrease muscle tension, reduce pain, restore balance and improve flexibility and to help improve the functioning of the body as a whole.

Conditions treated: These treatments can help people with nervous system calming, adrenal fatigue/burnout, chronic fatigue, general & specific back and neck injuries; sports injuries, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel, structural misalignment, joint problems, headaches & migraines, scoliosis, whiplash, pregnancy, painful menstruation, regulate digestion and many cases of unexplained or medically undiagnosed pain.
As an osteopathic practitioner, treatments have an emphasis on treating the symptoms and the underlying causes of the health issue.

What is Cranial Osteopathy (Craniosacral)? This is a gentle form of therapy that focuses on the craniosacral system. This includes the brain, spinal cord and the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects these structures.

What is Visceral Osteopathy? Visceral osteopathy is a gentle manual therapy that focuses on the internal organs, or viscera, and the fascia that surrounds them. It aims to improve the mobility of the organs to help the body function better


Reiki

Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. Lesley Wiggins, Certified Massage Therapist, Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, Reiki Master

Lesley is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner and graduated from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in Edmonton in 2021 and she graduated from Western College of Massage Therapy in Regina in 2018. (Although she has RMT status in Alberta & SK, she is only able to provide certified massage therapy & osteopathic massage in BC). She is a Master Reiki practitioner and studied with Usui Reiki through the Golden Lotus Center from 2019 - 2021.

Lesley is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner specializing in manual osteopathy, massage therapy, and Reiki. Lesley’s passion for health & wellness started after a series of health issues. In finding ways to navigate her own healing process, she decided to become more involved in learning ways to help others achieve a better state of wellness. With a deep commitment to holistic healing, Lesley integrates these modalities to help clients achieve optimal health, balance, and well-being.

As a certified massage therapist and osteopathic practitioner, Lesley has extensive training in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Their approach focuses on restoring structural alignment, reducing pain, and improving mobility through gentle, hands-on techniques. Whether addressing chronic pain, postural imbalances, or stress-related tension, Lesley tailors each session to meet the unique needs of their clients.

In addition to physical therapies, Lesley is also a certified Reiki Master, offering energy healing sessions that promote relaxation, emotional release, and energetic balance. By combining Reiki with hands-on bodywork, they provide a truly integrative healing experience that nurtures both the body and mind.
